Text Messages

Lake Country Bible Chapel now offers a text message notification service.  The service will only be used in situations when an urgent notification is required.  For example, the service will be used when it becomes necessary to cancel a meeting due to Inclement Weather.

Here's some more information:

• • To register a phone to receive text messages, please complete the following form: LCBC Text Message Registration Form.

  • Please use the form for as many times as needed for all the phones you wish to register.

  • There is no charge for the service, other than standard message rates and data charges from your carrier.

  • The notification service will use the Short Messaging Service (SMS) protocol. Most smartphones are able to receive SMS messages, but not landline phones.

  • All messages will start with the prefix "LCBC:".

  • To stop receiving messages, please reply to the text message with "STOP".

  • Please do not reply to the text messages (exception: reply STOP to discontinue the notification service).
